Most Saturdays, we try to organise a #madeupstaturday – a very simple concept where we encourage everyone else to come up with their own made-up stats, in return for some very desirable beer.

Each time, we set a theme (such as Europe, sex or Eamonn Holmes), and the best* tweet will win a case of 12 bottles of Fyne Ales from the wonderful people who run the brewery up in Argyll, Scotland. Following them on Twitter is recommended, but nowhere near as satisfying as actually trying their beer.

The booty...

This isn’t a very formal offer (it’s run by a brewery and a bloke on a train), but as a guideline, the case of ale can only be delivered to people in the UK (or with access to a UK address), and over the age of 18.

* ‘Best’ means a really subjective process of working out which is the funniest, partly influenced by the number of retweets etc it gets. However, if you want to know what works well, you can read up on what works best as a made-up stat.
